Dingazz Music Website
I hope you will choose to visit the Dingazz Music website the home of Miss Tun Pickney.
There you will find songs, rhythm and tunes from an independent musician, songwriter and producer. Times have changed and now Indie musicians have the power to create and distribute their own productions.
Music has always been with me through the good times and the bad helping to get through some of life's ups and downs. But being able to call on all of life's events when songwriting definitely helps though. I got the real taste for creating music when, with my brothers and some schools friends, we started a band called The Instigators with some moderate success.
The band broke up but my brothers went on to be renowned producers in the UK reggae scene. But for me music had to take a back seat. Other priorities needed to be taken care of, you know, family, regular income, mortgage. However, that creative urge was always there as well as the feeling that I had unfinished business. I knew that one day and somehow I would get back to creating music and continue chasing the dream.
Musically, there have been many influences, just to name a few, Bob Marley, Sly & Robbie, Black Uhuru, the Aggrovators, Toots & the Maytals, Ray Charles, Dire Straits, Stevie Wonder. I try to take those influences and a few of my own ideas to add some musical twists and turns to the productions.
If you like what you hear and see, then, I hope you will follow me and together we can help music change the world.
Bless

Miss Tun Pickney Bio
Two major influences are Bob Marley and Sly & Robbie. The former took reggae to the next level and is still the standard measure. The blend of great music, lyrics and staying true to beliefs left its mark and at the same time showed reggae had no boundaries. What Sly & Robbie produced was greater than the individual parts especially their work with Black Uhuru. This was an early lesson, find and produce your own sound and through collaboration you can create and achieve more.
Miss Tun Pickney plans to continue producing new reggae collaborating with new and established vocalists. Always on the lookout for new twists and turns but foundations drawn from the reggae greats.
